FAQ 1. If no author of a given accepted paper registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, will the paper be included in the proceedings?

No. At least one author of each accepted paper must register at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference and present the paper. If no author registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, the paper will not be included in the workshop proceedings.

FAQ 2. If an author registers at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference but is subsequently unable to attend and present the paper in person, can the paper be presented remotely? Will it still be included in the proceedings?

If at least one author has registered at the ECML-PKDD 2026 conference, the paper will be included in the workshop proceedings, even if the author is subsequently unable to attend in person.

The possibility of presenting the paper remotely is at the sole discretion of the Workshop Organizers. Authors should contact the relevant Workshop Organizers directly to discuss whether a remote presentation can be accommodated. Please note that no logistical or technical support for remote presentations will be provided by the conference organizers, since ECML-PKDD 2026 is natively an in-person event. Any arrangements required for a remote presentation must therefore be handled by the Workshop Organizers and the authors.
